You will find a variety of brunch, lunch and dinner buffets packages, which are custom to your tastes and budget. There are two lovely private dining rooms to accommodate your needs. THE ATRIUM
The Atrium dining room, our main dining area, comfortably seats up to 56 guests, depending on the seating arrangement. Bathed in natural light from its large skylight and beautiful exposed brick, this dining area offers a bright and spacious setting, with lots of lucious live greenery. Perfect for a variety of events including rehearsal dinners, retirement socials, bridal showers or baby showers. With dimensions of 30 feet by 32 feet, the Atrium provides ample room for your friends and family. Reservations for this room are available for a three-hour time frame, with the option to arrive up to one hour prior for decorating. Luncheons may begin as early as 11 am or as late as 1:00 pm, while dinner events may start as early as 5 pm or as late as 7 pm. Lunch, brunch and dinner buffet packages can be viewed below. The Atrium can seat up to 56 guests at 9 tables of varying sizes. This set up does not allow extra tables for display purposes. This arrangement is ideal for business gatherings, bus tour groups and rehearsal dinners.
The Atrium can accommodate up to 42 people for private event such as a graduation party, baby shower or bridal shower. This layout will include a buffet table, dessert table and gift table.
The Atrium can provide up to 48 seats, with the buffet located just a few steps away in the Irving Café. This layout will still allow space for your gifts and desserts with in the atrium room.
THE PARLOR
The Parlor dining room offers a cozy and intimate setting for private gatherings of up to 36 guests, depending on seating arrangement. Enclosed for privacy, this space is ideal for intimate gatherings, business meetings, or small bridal showers or baby showers. With dimensions of 16 feet by 26 feet, the Parlor provides a charming atmosphere with gold tin ceilings above, windows along the west and decor of vintage Syracuse posters. Reservations for this room are available for a three-hour time frame, with the option to arrive up to one hour prior for decorating. Luncheons may begin as early as 11 am or as late as 1 pm, while dinner events may start as early as 5 pm or as late as 7 pm. Lunch, brunch and dinner buffet packages can be viewed below. This layout does not allow extra tables for display purposes. Don’t worry, the buffet will be conveniently located along the exterior wall of the room near the entrance.
The parlor will easily seat up to 30 guests for your baby shower, wedding shower or birthday party. This layout will include a gift table and small dessert table. Again the buffet will be located along the exterior wall of the room near the entrance.
Have a small meeting to conduct and need privacy? This room can be rented for a small fee if you have less than 15 guests. Inquire for more information.
PRIVATE EVENT MENUS

Deposit
For most events, we require an advance deposit of $100 or $250. Larger events may be more. This deposit secures your reservation and will be deducted from your final bill. Payment can be made via cash, check, or credit card (Visa, MC, Amex, Discover) over the phone. Please note; the deposit is not transferrable and is not refunded if cancelled.
Beverages
Choose from a variety of beverage options tailored to your preferences:
Completely Open Bar with a tab for all alcoholic drinks ordered by guests.
Limited Bar offering options such as; beer and wine only (no liquor). Based on consumption for the duration of event.
Pre-Set Bar predetermined, capped dollar amount or specific time frame (available with full or limited bar options).
Cash Bar allowing guests to pay for their beverages individually. Prices vary, with wine by the glass starting at $8.00, draft and bottled beer starting at $4.50, and liquor starting at $4.50.
Mimosa and Bellini Tab based on consumption at a discounted rate of $5 per drink (available for duration of event, capped amount or specifie time frame).
Decorations
Personalize your event with a festive theme; such as balloons, favors, photos, flowers, centerpieces and votive candles. Please refrain from using confetti or glitter, as a $75 cleanup fee applies if used. Ivory tablecloths are complimentary for cake table, buffet table , and gift tables, along with ivory linen napkins, water goblets and silverware. Specialty color napkins are available for a flat $20 fee with a two-week notice. Ivory linen tablecloths for the guests tables are an additional fee of $5 per cloth and also require a two week notice. Keep in mind that some tables may require more than one tablecloth. Decorating may begin up to 60 minutes prior to your event.
Dessert
For private events, you may provide a specialty cake or cupcakes from your favorite bakery. You might like to consider our sister property, The Patisserie in Skaneateles, NY for your bakery needs (315.685.2433). They delivery to us daily so no need to worry about that on your big day. Please note that a minimum food and beverage requirement must be met to bring in outside desserts (Patisserie desserts do not count towards our minimum). Absolutely no home made products will be permitted. Our staff will assist with cutting and serving your dessert at the appropriate time with no extra fee.
Handicap Accessibility
Please note that our Parlor dining room, Atrium dining room, and restrooms are not handicap accessible due to the age and layout of the building. We apologize for any inconvenience. A ramp is available at our front entry for access to the café and bar areas.
Final Payment
Upon conclusion of your event, you will receive a final bill including all charges such as food, beverages, rental items, room fees (if applicable), 8% tax, and 20% gratuity. Your advance deposit will be deducted from the total. Payment is due on the day of the event and can be made in cash, Visa, MC, American Express, Discover, personal or business checks.
Tax Exempt
If your not for profit organization is paying for your special gathering, please furnish the proper tax exempt form and proper form of payment, provided by the organization. Please note that personal check, personal credit card or cash are not allowable forms of payment.
Parking
Phoebe’s Restaurant does not have a private parking lot, but street parking is available on East Genesee Street. Street parking is free after 6:00 pm Monday through Saturday and free on Sundays. Additional parking is available in a Syracuse University owned lot at the rear of the building, as well as in a nearby parking garage. During the summer months, parking may be available at no charge in the SU lot. For questions regarding parking lot hours, please contact SU Parking at 315-443-5507.
